Ravi leads Government Affairs, Market Access, Govt Tenders & GeM for India Medtronic Pvt Ltd based at New Delhi.
His current charter includes policy advocacy, government affairs, industry associations, overnment partnerships and market access with Central & State governments of India. He has extensive ultidimensional experience of more than 26 years in healthcare, Pharmaceutical & Medical devices industries in the areas of Government Affairs, Policy Advocacy, Strategic marketing, Regulatory and compliance, CSR & Sustainability, health technology Assessment, Corporate Affairs, Sales & arketing, trade associations engagement and Crisis Management and has been engaging with state and federal governments of India.

He is Board member, Chair of Delhi chapter as well as Medical Devices committee of European usiness Group (EBG). He is also co-chair of Govt affairs committee of MTaI, an industry body of 55 leading MNC’s in Medtech industry which are operating in India. He was co-chair of Govt affairs ommittee of Apacmed from 2022-24, an industry body of 37 leading MNC’s in Asia Pacific region of Medtech industry which are operating in India.

Prior to rejoining India Medtronic, Mr. Valia has held various strategic positions with US, Europe & ndia headquartered organizations like B. Braun, Abbott & Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Pvt Ltd n cities like Delhi & Mumbai. He is an MBA graduate in Pharmaceutical Management and holds a Batchelor of Pharmacy degree from Mumbai University.

He has been a visiting faculty at Jamia Hamdard and has participated as panelists in several national and International events in India across the country.
