EBG- AmCham Pre Budget meeting with Shri Sushil Chandra Chairman-CBDT, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance

Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance convenes pre-budget meetings with trade and industry Associations every year to discuss suggestions/ recommendations in respect of tax issues pertaining to different sectors. For the forthcoming Budget 2018-19, EBG & AmCham Members were invited to meet and present the Pre Budget recommendations to Shri Sushil Chandra, Chairman- CBDT, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance on Thursday, 7 December 2017. EBG presented the Direct Tax issues and AmCham presented the Indirect Tax issues. Pre Budget recommendations for changes in the duty structure, rates and broadening of tax base on Direct and Indirect tax have been submitted to the Department of Revenue.
